Why 365 Days In A Year? [Solved]
The Long Answer: It’s no secret that it takes Earth a full year to orbit the Sun — 365.25 days, to be exact. But since that’s a bit of a mouthful, we usually round it off to 365 days in our calendar year. To make up for the missing quarter day, we add an extra day every four years — leap year! So there you have it: one solar year equals 365.25 days and one calendar year equals 365 days with an extra day thrown in every four years.
