Well, it looks like our ancestors were pretty ahead of the game! Apparently, way back 5,000 years ago, the Babylonians and Egyptians already had calendars to keep track of their activities. They used them to plan events, ship goods and make sure they planted and harvested at the right times. Pretty cool!
