Genya immigrated to pre-state Israel in April ‘46 and was sent to an orphanage in Jerusalem. Later, she was transferred to relatives in Kibbutz Yagur. Fast forward to 1954 and she enlisted in the IDF. Then, nine years later, she tied the knot with Yossi and they’ve been happily married ever since! They now have a big family with kids, grandkids and even great-grandkids!
